Over the years, we've guided dozens of travelers through Thailand while building deep relationships with local communities, trusted partners, and tourism professionals. Our team includes experienced Thai staff and former SSFA scholarship students with tourism training, giving us the local knowledge to help you experience the country with confidence.

We'll help you discover both Thailand's iconic destinations and the places most visitors never see.

 

Choose the Experience That's Right for You

 

1. Hosted Group Trips

Join one of our scheduled trips and travel alongside the SSFA team.

Current departures:

• Approximately March 18–29, 2027

  • Bangkok, SSFA, Beaches​

• Summer 2027 - Currently looking at July 26–August 7, 2027 as possible dates.

  • Bangkok, SSFA, Beaches 

A typical trip includes:

• Time with the SSFA community in Isaan

• Bangkok's temples, markets, and culture

• Several days at Thailand's beautiful beaches or in the mountains around Chiang Mai

• Optional activities like elephant sanctuaries, golf, snorkeling, hiking, cooking classes, shopping, and more

The cost for this package trip is approximately $4,000 per person, which includes international and domestic flights (economy), hotels (3- or 4-star, well-reviewed), and in-country transportation - ALL of which we will arrange for you. These trips will be hosted by Danielle and/or Garth Neufeld.
 

Please note: each individual will receive a tax-deductible receipt for approximately 75% of the cost.

2. Custom Travel
 

We'll work with individuals, couples, families, churches, schools, businesses, and other groups to create a personalized itinerary based on your interests, budget, and travel style. Some of these trips can be hosted by Danielle and/or Garth Neufeld, or Supunnee Pargul.

While we'll happily show you Thailand's famous destinations, the heart of every SSFA trip is Isaan—Thailand's rural northeast. This is where our students live. Many travelers tell us their time in Isaan becomes the most meaningful part of their journey.

 

More Than a Vacation

We often say, "Onsite is insight." Seeing the work firsthand changes your understanding in ways no newsletter or video ever can. You'll meet students, spend time with families, experience Thai culture, and gain a deeper appreciation for the community that makes SSFA possible.

If you have a talent or hobby you'd like to share—whether that's sports, music, art, education, healthcare, or something completely different—we'll gladly explore opportunities to incorporate it into your visit. But no special skills are required. Simply showing up and building relationships is enough.
