SUPUNNEE PARGUL
Program Director

Supunnee Pargul is Thai and hails from Sam Prao, Isaan. After she earned a B.A. in English from Ramkhamhaeng University in Bangkok, she taught second grade english for three years at Wattana Wittayalai Academy. After earning her M.A. in International Community Development from Northwest University in Seattle, "Nee" returned to her village to begin this work.

Danielle and Supunnee met in Seattle in 2014 after earning the same Master’s degree in International Community Development, a year apart. Independently and unbeknownst to one another, they had each focused their graduate theses on the region of Isaan, Thailand, Danielle on cultural contextualization and Supunnee on child education. Soon after, Danielle headed to Isaan to see Nee's village. In 2015, Supunnee returned to Isaan to offer quality education to children in her village. At any given time, she hosted classes of 20-80 children in her mother’s house. After another visit to Isaan, this time with her husband, Danielle and Garth started Shared Space for All to help support the work that Supunnee had begun.

​DANIELLE SLAUGHTER NEUFELD
Executive Director, Founder

Danielle Neufeld holds an M.A. in International Community Development and a B.A in International Relations. Her Master’s thesis was the inspiration for Shared Space for All. In this paper, she outlines the economic and cultural systems that sustain prostitution in Thailand. Danielle speaks Thai conversationally and is an experienced cultural broker with a knack for understanding and navigating Thai collectivist culture. Danielle has been working with women and children in Northeast Thailand since 2014.​

GARTH NEUFELD
President, Founder

Garth Neufeld is an educator who is passionate about work that serves vulnerable populations. He first traveled to Thailand in 2008 and has returned, nearly annually since then. He and his wife, Danielle, started Shared Space For All in 2016. Garth manages much of the American side of the operations of the organization.​

YODNANG (YOD) BUNPHAKUT

Yod is from Udon Thani and has partnered with Shared Space for All for over 4 years. Yod has a degree in Political Science. She is passionate about building relationships with parents in the village and believes this is key to a child’s success. She partners with Shared Space For All because she wants to see the village children have more options in life.

SUJITTRA SRITONGON (NICE)

Nice is from Udon Thani and was one of our college scholarship recipients . She has been with SSFA for 9 years. Nice studied teaching with an emphasis in Mandarin instruction. She currently works with SSFA as our Mandarin teacher. She is passionate about teaching Mandarin and is an excellent instructor. Nice loves SSFA as it "gave her a new life." She also enjoys giving back to the community at SSFA.

SATTAWUT PARANIT (BALL)
​SSFA Secretary

Ball is from Udon Thani and has partnered with SSFA for 7 years. Ball is one of our former scholarship recipients. Ball studied English at the local university in Udon Thani. He is now a full-time English teacher at an elementary school in Udon Thani. Ball is passionate about learning English as his second language and has always wanted to become an English teacher. He dedicates much of his free time to volunteering at SSFA.

SAOWARAK JANDAWAN (SAO)
Operations Support

Sao is from Udon Thani and has partnered with SSFA since the beginning. She wears many hats at Shared Space For All and helps the program run smoothly. She provides much-needed transportation to our students and meets many of the daily operational needs of our program.

DR. UMAPORN KENSILA (AU)

Au is from Udon Thani and has partnered with SSFA for 4 years. She studied nursing at Mahidol University, Bangkok. She currently works as the assistant professor at Rajabhat University Udon Thani. She is passionate about teaching the community health-related issues.  She loves partnering with SSFA because of our vision for children.

JURARAD KENSILA (AIM)

​Aim is from Udon Thani and has partnered with SSFA for 5 years. Aim studied nursing at Mahidol University, Bangkok. She currently works in the military as the Chief of Preventative Medicine. She is passionate about Drug prevention in the village. She  partners with SSFA because she believes in our vision and mission.

Aoy is from Udon Thani and has partnered with SSFA for 2 years. She studied fashion design at Rungsit University in Bangkok. She owns a real estate business in the Udon Thani area. She is passionate about helping young kids learn to read and write. She partners with SSFA because she loves our vision.

THIPTIPAT BORKHAMKOET (FLUKE)

Fluke is from Udon Thani and has partnered with SSFA for 7 years. He studied accounting at Rajabhat University. He is our computer and language instruction teacher. He is passionate about sharing his love for language with our students. He loves seeing the impact SSFA has on his community and loves being involved.
